I'm Jess, an artist and new mother living in the Midwest with my daughter Finley and dear husband Zach. I am the gallery curator at Illinois Central College and also the director and co-founder of an artist-run space called Project 1612. 

Blogging is a new outlet for me, Instagram posts just weren't cutting it. Here I will be transparent, sharing about my motherhood experience, artwork, travel, and slow living.
